On behalf of the Brothers of the Fort Worth (TX) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., it is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our website. I am honored and privilege’s to serve as the 31st Polemarch of this great chapter. I am proud to lead the effort in continuing the work we do in the Fort Worth and Tarrant County area.
The Fort Worth (TX) Alumni Chapter remains committed to community service, as well as awarding scholarships for male high school graduating seniors in Tarrant County.
Whether we are mentoring youth, providing scholarships to high school seniors, or supporting families and children in need, we constantly seek ways to have a positive and sustainable impact on our community.

Mission, Goals, and Objectives
Mission: The mission of the Fort Worth (TX) Alumni Chapter (FWAC) is to provide community service, develop our youth, promote and enhance the FWAC brand while perpetuating the fraternal bond of brotherhood.
1. Relentlessly serve the community of Fort Worth
2. Expand Guide Right to be the bench mark of the Southwestern Province
3. Recognize our Senior Kappa Brothers
4. Increase Reclamation and Retention Efforts
5. Grown the FWAC Brand
6. Improve our Organizational Efficiency
Community Service: Increase responsiveness in each of our community service events. Engage our community partners for successful outcomes.
Guide Right: Provide the best leadership and mentorship to our youth. Increase the number of youth in the program. Grow our youth into men that the community will be proud of.
Senior Brother Recognition: Recognize all 50 year/Senior Kappas. Visit and check in on all Senior Kappas. Provide appropriate assistance when needed.
Reclamation/Retention: Incentivize members who are responsible in bringing NUPES back home to the FWAC.
Organizational Efficiency: Use technology and other appropriate avenues to improve communications and document FWAC events.
Branding/Bonding: Promote K A PSI and the FWAC in all that we do. Participate in the FWAC events and community events. Engage NPHC sororities and support their efforts. Build partnership with organizations within Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
ONE KAPPA: Fully embrace the “ONE KAPPA” concept by improving communications, visiting senior Kappas and supporting our internal/external events. Act “brotherly” in everything that we do!

The Fort Worth (TX) Alumni Chapter
Under the guidance of then Province Polemarch Cornelius Ladner, The Fort Worth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on Saturday November 22, 1947. Ten Kappamen met in the home of Dr. E.L. Dorsey, downtown Fort Worth on the corner of Sixth and Jones, to officially establish the Fort Worth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Those present were Dr. Jerome Harris (1897 – 1978), Chester Rettig (1904 – 1979), Dr. E.L. Dorsey (1905-1991), J. Martin Jacquet (1906-1983), L.C. Anderson (1907 – 1965), Cecil Irving (1910 – 1984), Dr. A.A. Griffin (1915 – 1969), Juan Bennett (1915 – 1991), Tommy Edwards (1922 – 1971), and John L. Barnett (1923-2004). The Fort Worth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was the only chapter to be chartered in 1947 by the Southwestern Province.
